There is something about the ambience of a country style wedding that I just love, and Tamlyn and Josh’s wedding on Saturday is the exact reason I love photographing weddings – gorgeous couple in love, full of style, sophistication, beautiful locations, cool classic cars and by no means last, a great group of family and friends.
I arrived to photograph the Tamblyn and the girls at the couple’s home to be greeted by Tamlyn’s mum, rather relieved that I was there as both Tamlyn and her mum had a dream that the photographer didn’t turn up, and made more interesting because it was the first wedding I had ever dreamt about on the night before the wedding, but I turned up to the delight of everyone.
Tamlyn’s dress was exquisite and she looked stunning. Josh looked very dashing in his Italian styled suit – what a cute couple!
After a little drama with one of the cars on the way to the church, the bride arrived to have a beautiful ceremony at the quaint St Peter’s Lutheran Church in Alberton. Then it was off to the family’s property in Stapylton for the location shoot. Then it was off to Sirromet Winery at Mount Cotton in Brisbane for the reception where the party continued with great food, wine, a lolly bar, dancing … and one of Boots Photography’s famous Photo Booth styled sessions – check out some of the photo booth shenanigans here.
